Koh Samui is part of Thailand's largest and most important Southern province, called Surat Thani which literally means "A city of the Good people". This province was a strong hold for the Sivichaya Empire. Koh Samui is located 657 Kilometres from Bangkok. Koh Samui Island is one of 18 administrative divisions. The resorts deluxe rooms are spacious with an area of 52 to 56 square meters, Family Suites are 135 square meters and the Honeymoon Suites well they are 125 square meters.

Once the Superior rooms come on line on 1st October 2007 they will be 52 square meters. and spacious with sea views for almost 90% of the rooms.

Kandaburi can boast the largest and most comfortable Deluxe and Superior rooms on Koh Samui. Where pure relaxation and indulgence can be enjoyed, for a short break or a good few weeks you will not feel entrapped or lacking in space of comfort.

Frangipani – Beach and poolside restaurant open for Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner. The beach Restaurant opens early morning refreshments at 06:30 - 22:00 daily. Round the pool, lunch time trade begins at 10:30 until 4:30 daily.

Orchidea (Opening June 15th, 2007) - A real fine dining location fully air conditioned, Traditional Thai restaurant to savour the best of Thai food with Fine wines. Open 6:00pm last orders 10:30 daily.

Kandalina (Opening June 15th, 2007) - A Mediterranean Restaurant, an alfresco style relaxed atmosphere, with an Antipasto Style Buffet, and a wide menu selection of meats, pastas, seafood, fine wines. Open 6:00pm last orders 10:30pm daily. Fully air conditioned.

The Sea Horse Pub (Opening July 2007) – Fun for all, next to the second pool.

Palm Court (Opening end of July 2007) - The Breakfast court for the hillside, open air concept under a roof, with panoramic sea views. Open 6:30 am until 10:30 daily. Buffet concept, with egg stations.

Lobby Bar - has a quiet drink, enjoy the breathtaking view. 7:00 am until 12.00 pm.

Beachside Bar - open from 8:00 am until 7:30 pm for Wonderful cocktails, light refreshments and wonder full Sunset cocktails

Entertainments

Evening Entertainment around the pool will be a feature varied during the high season, December - March, July - September. Beachfront theme evening offer lived entertainments such as an in-house band, Thai classical dancers and other shows etc.
